Breathwork is a general term that can refer to many different kinds of breathing or pranayama exercises. The ratios of O2 & CO2 in the body shift when consciously engaging the diaphragm and taking over the breathing. This has temporary impacts on the physiology of the body and that combination sets the stage for a variety experiences, depending on the person and the intention in the approach. The practice of breathwork can provide many benefits including:
Every experience is different so there is no one way to answer this question. The best approach is to let go of expectations and explore with a spirit of playfulness and curiosity. Each person and each session is unique but some people experience laughter, tears, or insights, or have a variety of different body sensations. You may be relaxed or energized. I work with people with a keen eye towards physical and emotional safety as well empowering you to gain trust, wisdom and an understanding of how you can use conscious breathing.
Most people can use some sort of breath safely yet some types of breathing may need to be avoided for safety. Reasons can include glaucoma, pregnancy, and severe conditions in the following areas: asthma, epilepsy (or history of seizures), high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, mental illness, and diabetes. Please contact me for more details or for questions.
No matter if you are joining a group or 1:1 session, you will want to have a space that is quiet, private and comfortable. Depending on what we are doing you may want to be laying down or sitting up. I recommend having pillows around and a blanket in case you get cold. Perhaps a glass of water and tissues nearby. Arriving to a session without a full stomach is strongly advised. The breath won't flow as well with a full stomach. One of the best ways to prepare, is to reach out to me. Get to know me. Ask questions or just connect. I want to feel comfortable with you and I want YOU to feel comfortable with me.
Tiffany’s soothing voice made it easy for me to go into a deeply relaxed mental state, even though I have a very chatty brain. It was invigorating and relaxing and in addition, some of the effects for me were powerful and unexpected. I treated a brain tumor with gamma radiation about 8 months ago. As a result of this treatment, I’ve been experiencing some twitching in my optic nerves and some dizziness. I got up after the first breath session (five days ago) and it took me about five minutes to realize that my vision and balance were completely normal. This lasted for almost an hour and while the symptoms returned, they were not as severe. After the second session my vision was normal for several hours. It is 8 hours past that session now and my symptoms are still dramatically improved. I did not do this work expecting any impact on my vision or balance. This was a complete (and welcome) surprise. I am grateful,

Tiffany’s approach to guiding breathwork is so grounding and supportive. She does an amazing job tapping into when I need to breathe deeper, release, or relax my body and I always feels safe and guided. I have loved all our 1:1 sessions and can’t wait to continue working with her both 1:1 and in groups. I always radiate so much self love after breathing with Tiffany!

Breathwork is a whole new world to me. Tiffany has taken me on a journey that I never knew existed. She is a natural guide, easy to open up to and has been my caring coach as well as my breathwork facilitator.
It may sound silly to need help breathing- but even during daily activities, I wasn’t breathing effectively, The skills Tiffany has taught me, help me every day. This has been the foundation for our breathwork sessions.
I never knew how important breathwork would be. To be honest, I was skeptical and didn’t expect much more than trying to take deep breaths and relax (which, as simple as it sounds, is still challenging for me). But during my first guided session with Tiffany, I experienced something unlike anything I’ve ever felt before-physical and beyond. My experience was completely surprising and caught me off guard. I am still amazed during and after each session.
This work has been a profound, refreshing, and positive change in my life.
There is no one I trust more, or would rather be on this journey with than Tiffany. She is skilled in her practice, caring, sincere, and patient. She and her work are a blessing in my life.

My name is Tiffany. I’m a passion driven freedom lover who is always seeking and learning. My Myspace name (remember Myspace?) kind of sums me up. InspirationJunkie. I love travel, all things nature, music, dancing, high quality food, gardening, natural health and heart felt connections. I came from a very meaningful career in not-for-profit water quality which culminated in serving as Executive Director. When the time came to explore a new frontier, I set off on a quest of discovery and that landed me, much to my surprise, right here, loving the world of embodiment, breath, meditation, mindfulness, leadership, connection, facilitation and discovery. Over the years I've sought knowledge from tradition schooling (B.S. Communication Disorders ), certifications in permaculture design, coaching from the Transformation Academy and I'm a certified on-line facilitator through the Biodynamic Breath & Trauma Release Institute, completed training in the Physiology & Psychology of Breathing Science through the Professional School of Behavior Health Sciences, a certified Embodiment Coach, and currently taking training in Authentic Facilitation. I want people to be empowered to live with presence, choice, and healthy communication, knowing how to navigate their emotional landscape, get to know their own bodies, their thoughts, and their needs. I want people to have the tools they need to shift themselves when necessary, and increase their health & resilience. I strive to honor each and everyone’s unique nature and innate wisdom.
